I have listened to at least half of your podcasts and I really enjoyed this one about compression. It really helped me to understand what the settings/options are used for and the demonstration was very helpful.
Amazing! You can certainly hear the difference. Thanks David!
You bet Walter!
I am a Sonar X1 user also with X2 on it’s way, Producer edition. What plugin out of the multiple compressors that come in the box would you use in place of the Melodyne? Definitely could hear the difference, so, once again, very well done, and appreciate the time! Thanks.
Mark
Hey Mark, good to hear from ya! Ya, I’ve got X2 as well but did this demo in X1. Very impressed all the way around with cost vs quality for sure (thanks for the push on this one :) ). On Melodyne, I’ll have to get back with you on that one. I’ve never personally use it so I’ll have to dig a litter deeper. I do know its intended to do more than one thing so there may not be a single stand alone option but might require several other tools.
Keep in touch.
You got it, I know the LP-64 Multiband Compressor is nice, along with the LP-64 EQ! Getting ready to install X2, wish me luck!!!
good luck! ;), I had in uninstall X1 first for some reason. It let me do the X2 install but it didn’t load until I pulled X1. Let me know how it goes!
