Do you know what I would need to record drums bass and guitar all at once? Are there other options to be able to record these 3 at once? and do these interfaces come with software?
Great question Evan, I’ve done exactly that before using 2 PreSonus FP10’s linked together giving me 16 simultaneous inputs, 8 drums mics, 1 click and 1 bass is what I used at one time with ProTools. Unfortunately they don’t make the FP10 any longer but I believe it has been replaced with the Presonus PreSonus FireStudio Project. There may be other options as well but this is my closest recommendation based on my own experience. You need a pretty decent machine but most any software can do this.
Also, Though I’ve never used one personally, you might also try looking into the TASCAM US-2000 USB. Seems to have pretty decent reviews.
David was extremely helpful getting my home studio dialed in. I learned a great deal quickly.
Thanks for commenting Yury, glad to have helped you out. Keep in touch.
