Are you wondering about that missing element in your final mixes? What makes your project sound professional and not amature? The answer could be in the mastering process. We will talk about it in this episode of the show. http://freerecordingtools.com
I have the software, I have the proper usb interface and I have two top of the line Keyboards and cables. My recordings are nowhere near the quality of the ads on my you tube channel. Please help so I can compete with the pro’s.
Hey Michael, just wanted to let you know that I replied to this comment in response to the one you left on another post.
Thanks Dave, my keyboards supply everything as far as instruments. My styles are already set up before I record. The only tracks I can work with using Studio One are left and right audio inputs that contain a finished song. The songs sound pretty good through my big Advent speakers but not through the small external computer speakers.
But when an ad is played before my video it sounds great through the little computer speakers. That’s the sound I am looking for because most people are going to hear my performance on their desktop or laptop speakers.
Check out my last recording of Tenderly on my page on You tube (Michael Szmania) Listen to the ad then my video and here the difference.
Thanks,
Mike
PS is this the correct page to get your reply? I’m new at this.
Hey Mike, your fine to reply here if you want. You can also send me an email at [email protected]. I listen to your video. One thing I noticed right away is that there is very little width (if any to the the mix). Is this all in mono? Is this just for the video?
