Ep 28 | Installing VST Plug-ins

Hi Dave,
Good stuff. Is there any reason not to have your plugins all in one folder?
Keith
This is really personal preference most of the time. The only real exception that I can think of is the need to separate 32bit plugins from 64bit. It’s never a good idea to have both version installed in a DAW as many DAW’s can crash with some plugins trying to load them both side by side. Not all plugins have issues with this but some can.
Hey Dave!
Very useful information. This episode by itself is worth the price of membership!
Take care
Luc
Ha ha, thanks Luc. glad to have helped!
Hello Dave , I find these tutorials very helpful , however it is difficult to follow because I am unable to expand the screen which you are using to explain the process . I have access to another program which allows the screen to be fully expanded . Is there any way you can adopt this way of delivering these very helpful hints . Thanks for your reply Geoff
Hey Geoff, these tutorials are embed from the YouTube feed and can expanded by click the “Fullscreen” square button to the bottom right of the video. Hope this helps!
