Hi Dave. I missed the deadline regarding the Addictive Drums sale, and was wondering if (and when) they will be on sale at the 50% off price. Thanks
Hi Mark, so this was a summer sale and I am not certain if they do this every year but I believe it’s once per year. I have no control at all over their pricing and discounts even though I do pass the saving on to the HMS1 community. Sorry you missed the sale.
Hi Dave Have a ? about AD2 I am Starting a new piece of music and I chose the Pearl as my bass drum. Now what I want to do is link it with the same bass drum only have one drum with the mic in the front and the other with the mic at the the beater. So I linked them up, sounds like a no-brainer right? Well the right sounds are there accept it is giving me a delay affect Could this be a phase issue? And if so How do I fix it within the program? Thanks Man…Gordie
I’ve never had a delay whatsoever with linking drums likes you’ve described. I’m assuming your using the flexi channels to link them? What is delaying? Are you trying to trigger the drums with some type of controler?
Hi Dave yes i am using the flex channels I am routing them into 2 sep channels in PT. So i can blend. Another way around this is maybe use just one bass drum and just duplicate the channel in PT then eq and comp differently
Hey Dave have a ? for ya about AD2 How can I change the bit rate from 32 to 64? Thanks for the help bud!
Hi Gord, you must install the 64bit version and make sure your DAW only see this plugin direction and not the 32bit.
If I weren’t already heavily invested in Superior Drums I would get AD2. Lots of flexibility a options for creativity. It’s easy to understand why you are passionate about this VSTi. I’m sure this video will be helpful to anyone who is “on the fence” about what drum software to get. Thanks, Dave!
What about tempo change on pre set tracks.
Hi James, since AD2 uses midi tracks, you can change the tempo anytime you need within your DAW. In Reaper you goto the insert menu and select Time Signature/Tempo Change Marker. Most DAW’s will have a similar feature.
